When to Consider Rashes as Something Serious

when-to-consider-rashes-as-something-serious

A perfect day could be dampened by the development of rashes. You could be out there enjoying the sun with friends and family instead of staying at home and feeling a great deal of irritation and discomfort.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, the common symptoms of rash are itchiness, redness of the skin, the appearance of small, fluid-filled blisters that tend to ooze upon scratching, and infection of the areas of broken skin.

While there are cases where rashes are mild, you must know how to spot them if it’s serious. Here are signs that the rash a person is currently experiencing is concerning and needs to be directed to receive Urgent Care in Columbus, Ohio:

  • Accompanied with a Fever
When your rash comes with a fever, it’s high time you seek professional help from a doctor. Our Walk-in Clinic is ready to assist and monitor your medical condition.
  • Painful Rash
When the rash area hurts far more than the usual discomfort, it could be a sign of another ailment such as shingles. To avoid worsening the patient’s state, it should receive an immediate response. We have our health team always ready at our Emergency Care in Ohio.
  • Other Signs
If you’re experiencing shortness of breath or have formations of dark purple areas, with the symptoms persisting for 1-2 weeks talk to yourdoctor.
